Family dynamics and drama always make for great radio – even if it's not your family!
A Celeb story came out last week that said:
Robert Pattinson's rumored romance with Dylan Penn may be just getting off the ground but it may end faster than it started if Sean Penn has any say. Hollywoodlife.com claims that Sean is allegedly not too keen on the idea of his daughter being with the Twilight star.
One source explained, "Rob and Dylan are having a thing, and he's into her. But a lot of his friends think it's going to crash and burn because her dad is so overprotective — he doesn't want Dylan dating Rob and Rob knows it. It's very uncomfortable for Rob, because for one thing, he's a fan of Sean's — but more than that, Rob hates confrontation. He avoids it at all costs, so the fact that Dylan's dad is so anti-Rob may drive him away. Rob is quite put off by it."
If you are a family counselor or an expert at dealing with family conflict – this would be very interesting to discuss.
First off – how scary would it be to have Sean Penn staring you down as you come to the door to pick up his daughter! (Not that Sean has stared him down…that just how I as a father would be)
