As a radio host/producer I am constantly being sent media releases by people trying to get some air time on my show. Every week I will post my favorite pitch of the week.
Notice how great this is. The concept is so simple it's funny. Why would anyone write out all the lyrics to this song? It's a brilliant pitch. Simplicity sells.
This weeks pitch looks like this:
You know how annoying it is when you forget the words to a song.
The tune keeps going around in your head — but the words are a
blur.
Imagine how annoying it is for people whose favorite song is —
"99 Bottles of Beer on the Wall" — when they can't remember the
words. Tough!
That's why — as a public service — Tim Nyberg (The Duct Tape
Guys) has published "99 Bottles of Beer on the Wall — The
Complete Lyrics". Finally, all 99 verses of this popular song are
available in book form — we repeat, as a public service — for
those folks who might need them.
