As a radio host and producer, I book many guests on my radio show.
On a Tuesday I will typically stumble across a media release I like (maybe yours) and then I will book you for an interview the following Wed (eight days later).
By the time our interview comes around, I will probably have seen 5000 other emails and talked with countless people, so I may not have your interview details fresh in my mind.
Here's a step you can do that will have radio and TV producers singing your praise.
The night before the interview, send a confirmation email with your media release in it so it brings back the reason why we booked you in the first place. I teach all my clients to do this…and it really works.
