My son borrowed my cell and took off to the park. While there, he decided he needed to call some friends…so he used 411. The sad news, when I got my cell phone bill, I had 13 charges of $1. OK it's not the end of the world…it's only 13 bucks…but still, that's a fortune just to find a friends phone number.

Well those days are gone. I've heard google had a new 411 tool but I didn't realize it works in Canada…and it's FREE!
Go to http://www.google.com/goog411/ and see how it works. This morning I programmed it into my cell and tried numbers in Trail, Nelson, and Castlegar and it worked! So program this now… 1-800-goog-411
By the way, I did talk about this on the radio. Why?
Because it was a relateable to other parents who've had weird charges on their phones too.
