I just got back from NYC where I did a workshop for America’s Premier Experts. In some of my next blog posts, I’ll talk about the workshop and the great people but this post is about praising the airline I used to get from Spokane to NYC and back again.
WHY?
The other speaker at this event was Peter Shankman who talked about Twitter. In it, he used examples on how to find out what people are saying about your company. As an example he punched up Delta and the hate mail for this company shocked me.
So I want to give a big shout out to the Delta gang. From the check in attendant to the luggage dude, to the security, to the boarding and the flight attendants…every one of them were excellent! Oh, and the pilot who flew us from NYC to Salt Lake City was very funny!
If you want to see rude, watch me trying to do any job with an airline and having to deal with people. I’d be a screaming crazy lunatic! Why the hell are people carrying so much luggage on the plane!!! Carry on is 1 item!!! Not a full suitcase PLUS a HUGE bag that you call a purse and a Laptop!
I thought I was going to snap a few times with the crazy people bringing everything on the plane. CHECK IT!!! I paid $15 to check my bag…you should do the same!
So if you’ve had a bad experience…maybe you were the crazy one trying to carry half your house on the plane…think back. So, I say, understandably airline staff should have the right to go a little squirrelly every shift. So thanks to the Delta Team for getting me home ahead of schedule and with great service.
