And you know what, this is something everyone needs to know when leaving a message for the media. Give us your phone number in slow motion!
You would be shocked at how fast people rattle off their phone number when leaving a message. I always give my number twice, and I even announce that I will so they won't have to rewind the message 7 times to get it.
So why does this matter?
Time – with all the messages we get on email or phone, if we can't get your phone number in the first 3 rewinds…and we are on the fence about booking you anyway, this could be the difference between calling you back or deleting you forever.
