This blog has nothing to do with publicity. but rather about me ranting about another newsletter that's driven me crazy.
I just opened another email from an internet marketer who said he's made $2 Million in the past 2 months online. I am gonna scream. I didn't even go any further. I cancelled my subscription to his newsletter. Why do I care? Is this supposed to make me buy their product because they've made huge money? Another Internet Marketer showed me a picture of his new house and the sports car he bought with his profits last year. No kidding this was the first page of his website. Am I the only one who is completely turned off by showing off? No, I'm serious – am I nuts?
Every email I get from these huge money makers is showing me how much money they are making… And then if I do get suckered into buying their product, they see it as an opportunity to upsell me constantly. I don't care. All I want to do is support my family, and teach people how to be their own Publicists. I don't even know how to upsell. haha. Does this make me bad at this?
Oh and then the marketers who take 50% of your profits for sharing your info with their lists…oh but that's another blog.
