Today on my radio show, we had Melissa Rivers as a guest. (yes the daughter of Joan) I have to say it was one of the best celebrity interviews I've ever done. What made it great? She was a regular down to earth person. As we were dong the interview I had this thought hit me…does she ever stress about her credit card? Should I ask it or not? Ahh what the heck…I asked and she jumped into the conversation saying that she's stressed over her mortgage payment. She said this was the year she was going to get out of debt.
This is a great strategy as an interview guest because it makes you relatable to the listeners who are stressing over having enough money for their morning coffee or their next tank of gas.
Melissa, thanks for making yourself a regular person. You really impressed me.
