I love being surprised by passionate people. Last night I ate at Frank’s Diner in Spokane Washington. Because I had never eaten there I walked in and asked the dumbest question…is this a good place to eat? Sometimes I even surprise myself with a foolish question. The server laughed and said if it wasn’t, he wouldn’t work there.
OK I felt comfy taking a seat. I checked out the menu and saw Stroganoff. When I asked him about the stroganoff, he answered,â€it’s made fresh with probably the best steak you’ll find in the city and maybe even in all of eastern Washington.â€
What a great answer. How could I not try it?
So why am I writing about this? Because if you can sellyourself with the confidence of this food server…you will go far in your PR campaigns. I wish when I booked a guest on my radio show that they were as confident and then followed through with a great interview….
Keep your eyes and ears open because you’ll never know where you’ll be motivated to be better.
