If you are serious about getting booked in the media and getting a ton of free publicity, you have to get in the habit of sending more than one email. A big mistake I see people make is they send out 1 request for an interview, and when they don’t get an answer, they think that means no. BUT truth be told, most of producers never reply to the first email. It’s our natural way of weeding out the people who aren’t serious. So my success tip for today is follow up! If after 3 emails and 2 phone calls you still haven’t heard back…then you can move on to the next producer.
