People who mentioned food, in their online dating profiles got more messages from women. However, any mention of guacamole in your profile will bring you about a 144 percent increase in messages. Mentioning potatoes will increase your rate of messages by 101 percent, and mentioning chocolate will earn you a 100 percent increase in messages.
Furthermore, if you simply mention that you're a "foodie" in your profile you'll get 82 percent more messages. So what is it about food? Dating and relationship coach Deanna Cobden explains, "This kind of information can reveal a lot about a person, such as their lifestyle, healthiness and whether they’re adventurous, fun, sophisticated and so on."
