PLEASE NOTE: These topics are best for Radio Shows, or TV News segments that showcase “LIFESTYLE” topics. So that would include most local radio shows where you live!
Apple Month – Does an apple a day still keep the doctor away? I once had a nutritionist begin a year-long weekly segment on the Wayne and Jayne show with the topic of Apples. So NEVER underestimate the power of a simple topic.
Eat Better, Eat Together Month – This is a great topic for Adult Contemporary radio stations and morning TV programs. Anytime you can discuss the power of eating as a family it’s a winning topic! My wife and I have always sat around the table for every dinner with our family. The exception would be once a year for Superbowl. Otherwise no TV.

Emotional Wellness Month
These 2 topics are great for psychologists or motivational speakers.
Global ADHD Awareness Month – I’ve seen some very interesting info lately about a co-relation between giving toddlers’ tablets and phones to entertain themselves and how it could be a connection to ADHD. So ADHD experts – let’s hear from you!
Financial Planning Month – If you are in this financial world…use this opportunity to create a list of the TOP 5 biggest mistakes families make when it comes to finances. Radio and TV show always love discussing lists like this.
National Cyber Security Awareness Month – As I mentioned in my email yesterday – This is a hot topic discussed on the Wayne and Jayne Show. Scam emails are constant! What’s the best anti-virus software? Do we need it for our phones? What are 3 things that everyone who owns a computer must do before the sun sets this evening?
National Dental Hygiene Month – Great topic for my dentist friends. I bet they see all kinds of horrible habits. So what are you recommending for toothpaste? Whitening? Bad Breath? Have fun with this list.
National Stop Bullying Month – I’m beginning to wonder if we will ever stop Bullying? That could actually be a hook.
Halloween Safety – EVERY year both radio and TV news programs have safety experts on to discuss this topic. If it’s in your wheelhouse – maybe this will be YOUR year!
