Free speech is OVER! If you are a celeb or anyone with half a brain, you must understand that sharing hatred is NOT OK.
What the hell was Rosanne thinking?
In case you don't know what happened – Rosanne tweeted some very rude things and ABC fired her and cancelled her show. (link below)
I feel for the nearly 200 people who now lose their jobs. I also feel for the cast, who probably were enjoying a decent boost in pay with this hit show. BUT now it's gone.
When will people figure out that you cannot share your idiotic views just because you have a twitter account – or any social media account for that matter.
People lose their jobs everyday because of social media!
I think this will be a HOT topic all over media for the next 48 hours.
If you are a workplace expert – let your local media know you could be a resource for them to discuss the Rosanne firing. I bet you get a ton of media – if you have something good to share.
In my view ABC did the right thing in firing her and cancelling the show. I actually have more respect for them standing up for their values instead of $$$!
