Every week I keep my eyes open for an effective media release. Why this one caught my eye is because I could see it on many different styles of radio shows. It can be for the busy mom market…or the single men market…or the new college student market.
Here it is:
Shhhhhhhh…. don't tell anyone but there's a helpful site on the Internet that crawls the web to find recipes based on what's in your kitchen right now. That's right — based on what's stashed in your fridge and in the corners of your cabinets. The name? Supercook.com, and it has a database of 250,000 recipes.
Supercook locates recipes on the web and then tells you exactly how many recipes you can make altogether, broken down into 'Starters,' 'Entrees,' and 'Dessert' categories. All you have to do is simply list all the ingredients you have.
It will also suggest other recipes that need one or two additional ingredients if you're willing to dash off to the corner store.
Assaf Rozenblatt is the 27-year-old founder of Supercook.com. This Brooklyn, New York-based entrepreneur is also founder of a language search engine called Brainboost.com.
Keep tuning in for other samples that I think do a great job of grabbing the eye of the media!
